Madison Baptist Church - Leadership Development

The Leadership Development Ministry Team is the ministry team that intersects each of the teams. The reason for this is that each of the teams will need leadership training. This team will also act as the conduit for each team to work with the others.

The Director of Missions, will be the team leader for this ministry team. He will also direct the state and national partnerships that will be housed in this team.

The former associational committees that will be a part of this ministry are:

* Deacon/Pastoral

* Historical

* Loans

* Nominating

* Program

* Resolutions

Our campus ministries for UAH, Alabama A&M, and Calhoun will be a part of this ministry team.

With all areas of ministry needing leadership training, this team will be the catalyst in supplying the training needs of all the ministries of the Madison Baptist Association.

The ongoing partnership with Michigan is an aspect of this team as well as other partnerships that our association may be involved with.

The Leadership Development Ministry team will actively recruit and for mentoring relationships that will resource the physical mental, and spiritual needs of pastors, staff, and lay leaders.

A part of this ministry team will be an administrative council that will include the Ministry Team leaders for each ministry in the association. This council will meet as needed to provide the overall direction for the Madison Baptist Association and its mission and ministry activities.
