Listed below are some ways you and your church can be involved in the rebuilding effort from the tornados and storms that came through North Alabama:

- If you are Disaster Relief Trained through the SBC Disaster Training in chainsaw and cleanup, call Wayne Miller. Wayne is the MBA Disaster Relief Coordinator. Contact Wayne at 256-656-9840 or the MBA office number at 256-536-0015.
- The Harvest Youth Club, led by Melvin Allen is providing ministry in their area. The address is 230 Lockhart Rd. Harvest Al. Melvin's cell number is 256-658-8652. They need churches to help provide supplies and volunteers. Tutors for reading, math, and science are needed from 4:30pm - 5:30pm Monday - Fridays.
- Rebuilding One House at a Time needs: Mission teams and groups that are skilled in framing, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, sheetrock, etc. Contact David Cochran of Mount Zion Baptist Church at 256-837-2665 (office) or 256-759-3019 (cell) , or you may contact Ron Lynch at 256-536-0015 (office) or 256-520-8328 (cell).

REBUILDING AFTER THE STORM

- Dec. 3- The Rock will provide lunch, a materials runner, and a "go to" person with construction knowledge. Volunteers will paint and put all finishing touches (including hanging all metal) on siding. Electrical fixtures and outlets can be installed. Plumbing fixtures and cabinets can be placed.
- Dec. 10 - volunteers will eat lunch at the Robinson's; continue with electrical and plumbing set in, begin landscaping
- Dec. 17 - Ribbon cutting, landscaping and move in....Merry Christmas... Summit Crossing will provide lunch for all working volunteers (Disclaimer #2- The December 17th date is a date that I chose as the ribbon cutting, but we all know that the timeline belongs to Eric and God, so that date is subject to change...but a girl can dream)

- Dec. 2 - need skilled volunteers to help put up J Channel and all starter parts of vinyl and measure for metal parts of siding
- Dec. 3 - The Rock will provide lunch for all volunteers at 181 Hammond Circle; we will put up all vinyl siding
- Dec. 10 - The Robinson's are going to feed the volunteers!!! Volunteers set in interior doors, do trim work; begin landscaping.
- Dec. 17 - install previously used Kitchen cabinets (need some skilled cabinet volunteers to put together this puzzle); volunteers paint; install light fixtures, set in bathroom sink cabinets and toilets; landscaping

BRICK Layers
David Cochran and Mt. Zion Baptist Church have begun a house.
Teams and individuals are needed to help with needs as this house is being built.
- December 2 & 3 : Begin painting the inside
- December 9 & 10: Install Flooring in bathrooms and Kitchen
- December 16 & 17: Install flooring, Finish the house
- December 23 & 24: Finish the house
- B.R.I.C.K. Layers (Believers Rebuilding In Christ's Kingdom): Volunteers are need for different projects in the Harvest area. Contact Jennifer Johnson by texting 256-682-5386 or email jenj@comcast.net.
- Keep Volunteering: Volunteers are need in Yarbrough, Stovall, Carters Gin and Beaver Dam areas. Contact Alice R. Brown at 256-656-8629 (cell) or 256-429-9254 (office)
- Donations are needed for MBA Disaster Relief and building supplies. Checks can be made payable to Madison Baptist Association and designated for Disaster Relief and mailed to 2318 Whitesburg Dr. Huntsville, Al 35801. All funds will go to Disaster Relief in Madison County.
Many of our Madison Baptist Association Churches are actively involved in the relief effort throughout the county. Our Alabama Baptist State Convention and partners from other states are also involved. South Carolina, Michigan, and The Gulf Coast Baptist Association are all involved in helping people in our area.
